The apple turnovers are to die for. Everything we purchased was wonderful.
We loved Paielli's.
This may be new favorite donut but the only problem is I'm 7 hours away. We found it driving around on vacation. We stayed in winthrop harbor and drove up 3 times during the week for these delicious donuts. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was good. If your in the area I suggest you try them.
This bakery has been around since 1923, and it’s easy to see why it’s stood the test of time. I ordered two donuts: the original glazed and their signature Cyclops—a chocolate-glazed donut with a dollop of white buttercream nestled in the center where the hole would be. Nice service..and selection, In all fairness, I only tried multiple cupcake options. The "carrot cake" cupcakes are mislabeled and should be called "spiced" cupcakes... they aren't even close to a Carrot Cake recipe or flavor ... no carrots, no raisons, no nuts, no pineapple.. just "spiced."
