We ate here before going ziplining and this place did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. The kimchi rice was also sooo good!
We were looking forward to lunch here and our table of five was seated quickly. After 30 minutes, not a single server acknowledged us so we left. I understand busy but just a nod in our direction would’ve been helpful. This was at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday. There are plenty of food options in Maui so it wasn’t hard to find another place.
We were in town for a windsurfing competition and ended up coming to Paia Bay Coffee & Bar a couple of times during our stay — and it quickly became one of our favorite spots in Paia. One night we had a bartender named Angel who was absolutely fantastic. She was so friendly, attentive, and handled the bar like a pro, even when it was packed and a little chaotic. Honestly, this might be the worst fish in Paia. The place itself is incredible, great vibe, good music, and the staff is friendly. Service is definitely on the slower side, but they’re nice about it, so no big deal there. But the food… that’s where it completely falls apart. The fish was so overcooked it was dry like cardboard.
