I'm a full time care taker for a Vietnam combat veteran who happens to be my father. I got sick in February and had to call an ambulance, Pafford is fairly new to our city by the way. The ambulance people were extremely rude, even asked me at one point why I was calling an ambulance when the hospital was just a mile away. I ended up having diverticulitis and wasn't given a thing in the ambulance, not even an IV. Then I got a bill for over 1500$ for under a mile. They did a great job getting my family member to the ER. My only issue is with billing. They sent them a bill for the services instead of their health insurance company. First person I spoke with told me my family member was on a plan that doesn't cover ambulance and they were rude when I told them yes they do and they basically hung up on me.
