The food at Paesanos Lincoln Heights exceeded my expectations, with the al dente pasta, rich and tangy sauce, and warmly lit ambiance combining to create a delightful Italian dining experience that lingers long after the meal is gone, all nicely balanced with a decadent tiramisu and a perfectly cooked garlic that added depth to our satisfying repast.
The food was good but it was the service that will cause me to return. I was attending a Celebration of Life event on 8/27 that followed a relative’s passing. The server, Melanie, was swift, detailed in her explanation of the menu, polite, professional and personable in a manner that made everyone feel comfortable. I was waiting on my Togo for what seemed like forever. I could see them already finished and waiting to get bagged. The host and runner who helped me were just drinking alcohol, giggling instead of noticing my order has been up there waiting to be bagged. They’re lucking it wasn’t an order for me but for a delivery service. They don’t realize because their lack for others, they’re preventing other people from working.
