I first visited Paeds in a Pod 7 years ago and returned to their Ashgrove clinic. The clinic has ample parking and is easy to navigate. We met Dr Imali Yapa and her excellent clinical experience and expertise of child health is evident in not only her approach to engaging with children but the way she observes the child’s behaviour even prior to entering her rooms. Doctors dismissed my concerns for 3 years. After paying another professional to assess my son and get a diagnosis the doctor still dismissed the assessment. He spends 5 min a year with my son and still thinks he knows more about him than me and the other professional who actually got involved and got to know my son. Hated the service since the first appointment. Waste of money. I still can believe this kind of professionals exists and are allow to take care of kids. So disappointed.
If you are reading this review chances are you are a parent needing specialist advice for a child. Let me point out some facts. 1. Have a read at their mission statement. Its about them providing this and that, but there is no mention around striving to help the patient address their needs. Ask yourself are you ok with that. 2.
