We recently had the pleasure of visiting Paddler Co-op, for the "Palmer paddler river fest" and we can't recommend it enough for anyone who loves canoeing, camping, or white water adventures! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about outdoor activities, making it a great resource for both beginners and seasoned paddlers. The selection of gear is impressive, from whitewater canoes and kayaks to pretty much all your whitewater equipment needs. I had never whitewater kayaked before, and the Two Day Whitewater Kayak Course was such an awesome experience!! Highly recommend for anyone interested in getting into whitewater kayaking or who want to improve their skills!! So much fun.
I went to Paddler Co-Op with VERY little experience with white water. Ryan, our instructor, is not only an expert paddler, he’s a top-notch instructor. We covered the basics like white water paddle strokes, reading the river, how to most safely float downstream if you capsize etc. I now feel that I have an essential foundation on which to keep learning!
Always a pleasure spending time with the staff, members, and paddlers. We had a great time on the water as well as the "Festivities". The whole family had a great time! Shout out to Ben and Tony, you made our time on the river successful and fun! To all the staff, big smiles on everyone's faces including the kids. Anyone gets the chance to spend any time up there take it!!!
