An amazing whitewater tandem canoe training experience for me and three kids. Mya was an awesome trainer - learned a ton over the two days. Much more confident and safe as a result. The facility was great and all of the other staff were wonderful.
Amazing experience in the 2-day Tandem Canoeing instruction course this week! Our instructor Ryan went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable so we could give it our all. He was so knowledgeable and experienced and tailored the course to our goals and learning styles. We learned so much and improved our skills a ton in just two days! I’ve had great experiences at the Paddler Co-op — from the Intro to Whitewater course with Maya and Malcolm, who built confidence across all skill levels, to Palmerfest where I connected with other paddlers, enjoyed good food and music, and learned a ton from Beth at Palmer Rapids and on the Lower Mad. A welcoming, skill-building community I’ll definitely return to!
Terrific intro to whitewater course. Professional instruction by Mya who did a superb job getting everyone comfortable. Recommend.
