Did the 4hr tour at low tide and it was totally worth it! It was slow pace but suits all abilities and it gives you plenty of time to observe around and take pictures. Highly recommend!
I booked a 2.5 hour tour for May 1 in Ucluelet Inlet with Paddle West Kayaking and am so glad I did. Katie was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We saw many sea stars, including a sun star, as well as sea lions and bald eagles (both adults and juveniles). Even though I'm a seasoned paddler, I normally kayak on inland waters (rivers and lakes) and even though this wasn't open ocean, I felt very safe with the instructions we received before setting out. Very informative We enjoyed ourselves and would do it again
Great harbor paddle with a knowledgeable guide with eagle eyes. She spotted a bear from quite a distance, took us to the sea lions dock, educated us on Ucluelet history, all on a beautiful sunny day in October.
We had the best time! We took a kayak tour with Lucas and learned so much about the area, sea life and history. It was beautiful! Would definitely recommend
