We had a great morning of paddling. Paddled on morning of September 24, 2025 Nice equipment - not often that the boats are proper fibreglass boats! Emphasis of this trip was doing and improving on paddling skills - with a healthy dose of amazing scenery to boot. Matt was very informative and it was a great trip! We got to paddle under the harbour bridge because we had a small experienced group. He taught us about the good sea kayaks and how to properly paddle them and gave pointers to take on the harbour waves.
My husband and I booked last minute and it was our very first time kayaking. Even though it was raining, the experience turned out to be absolutely perfect! Matt is an excellent fun guide, very knowledgeable about the history of the area, and made the whole trip fun and easy to follow. The group was also lovely, which made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for something unique and memorable.
This is such a cool adventure and Matt is such a cool bloke! Recommend this so much! Thanks heaps from a couple of grateful Kiwis!
