When I came here for an A/C check, I was told the evaporator was leaking one of the most expensive and labor intensive A/C repairs with a $700 labor estimate. I strongly remember looking up what’s involved in replacing an evaporator and being shocked by the cost of labor and the amount of work it takes (removing the dash, days of labor, etc.). Poor unprofessional service. 1-they tried filling the car with 123a while it’s designed for 1234yf. Which is illegal. When I told him this is not compatible, he started acting out and the other guy said oh they are the same thing and they have been mixing them in cars for years. 2- unprofessional behavior all along and bad attitude. 3- they said the compressor is bad and needing replacement without even filling refrigerant or running a test.
