I have been a member of PKC since I got my puppy two years ago. This is a wonderful community of people who really love their dogs.
I have a mixed breed dog and they were very welcoming and helpful. My dog passed the beginners obediance and the instructor was great!
Had lots of fun at the fun match today! Was good to have a place in the show feeling to practice
Classes were too big so they didn't focus on each dogs needs, strength and weaknesses. I brought my Rocky here because it was cheaper then most places then ended up having to pay for petsmart puppy classes also because he learned nothing. The class is cheap because there's 15-20 other dogs there. Petsmart has 4....
This club is stuck on Purebred only events and classes. They are not welcoming to any type of mixed breeds. They treat people poorly and have class sizes that are quite large for puppies and regular obedience. I tried one class and was turned off. Their nosework classes were cancelled when they didn't agree with the instructor on how it should be run and by whom.
Been a member for 18 or 19 years now since moving here from Philadelphia.
