Amazing experience! We saw starfish, two types of jellyfish, kingfishers and herons, a seal and a family of otters. 10/10. As a bonus EJ was extremely knowledgeable, and gracious with our late arrival. The price is reasonable and definitely worth it! This place rocks, I’ll be back for a bioluminescence tour. Go at low tide!
2nd time doing a bioluminescent kayak tour with this company, excellent both times. We caught an amazing moon jellyfish swarm tonight, too! Wow.
I had such a great experience with Pacific Paddle Sports in Brentwood Bay! The staff were super friendly, helpful, and made sure everything was safe and easy to understand before heading out. The equipment was in excellent condition, and the location itself is absolutely stunning. Definitely a must try if you’re in the Victoria area and want to enjoy the ocean in the best way possible!
Had the opportunity to go on a glow tour guided by Francis and Tom. For only having kayaked a handful of time, the tour was indeed extremely beginner friendly. We went on a full moon night which was not the ideal time to experience bioluminescence, however we were guided to some of the darker parts to fully experience the phenomenon. So much to see kayaking from the Brentwood Bay location. Staff always friendly and helpful. Never a problem with the equipment. I've rented from them numerous times.
