I had a horrible night of dizziness and nausea which defied explanations. It lasted for about 5 hours, was unrelenting and scared me. I finally called 911 at 10:26 pm on Tuesday, November 25. At 10:30, four handsome men came trundling into my bedroom. They were kind, affable, reassuring and they provided me with medication which alleviated my dizziness within moments. Torn. The emts are great. Really helped put patient at ease. The billing is not great. At all. $2000 for a 6 mile ride. Ooops not in network with our insurance which is in network everywhere else with everyone else but them. Insurance paid $1200 for the 6 mile ride. They want me to pay over $1000 more. Wth?? Yah...doc wanted ambulance ride from urgent care to e room. So not much choice in the matter and nobody said oh btw we don't take your insurance. Plus plus I'm told that they are overcharging for every single thing more ... read more

Because of the kind people who came to my house my best friend is still alive and will be okay. When I was terrified and crying an EMT named Rhiannon stopped and introduced herself and was so kind. I appreciate every one of you for your hard work and dedication. Thank you so much.
