DO NOT BUY! This sales and admin team has been nothing short of difficult and incompetent. We were verbally promised by Wendy a $10k incentive that we found in a Richmond website if we signed by a certain day. We signed by the deadline, had the earnest money check (which they require 2% of the sales price) then an additional $7k if we used their preffered lender. We have lived here for 2 months and it’s been nothing but issues. The warranty department for Richmond American Homes is unresponsive, untimely, and unprofessional in the way the carry out warranty work. THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT PREVIOUS BUYERS WHOSE BANKS AND MONEY HAVE HELPED THE COMMUNITIES COME TO WHAT THEY ARE TODAY. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT GETTING THE CHECK. Then they sell you and do the blue tape and they don't show up to fix absolutely anything..The company and its workers are not professional at all, I have been waiting for a repair for a month.
