Don’t work here ! I wasted an entire day going through the pre employment process. Only to discover language in their handbook that requires you to agree to fines / payroll deductions. For infractions like not doing daily check ins, arrival & departure calls. $50 each occurrence. That is illegal under state labor law. The handbook also says any damage or theft will be deducted from your pay, as well. I had to pay over $400 for the pre employment physical & drug screen, to walk away from that mess. Very unprofessional throughout the phone just trying to get a little help
I did not apply for this job, they contacted me during covid. I lasted maybe 6 weeks. The trucks assigned to me were junk, probably due to a very unorganized shop. The first trip out I went into reduced power mode at the Kansas turnpike. They called for service repair which happened during my sleep time. One trip out, my pretrip I discovered a low tire on my tractor., four hours for shop to come out and fix. I could go on, owner states I'm not rehireable due to their lies and poor equipment.
