We loved our stay for our anniversary trip but it’s definitely more of a family friendly vibe!
We had another fantastic stay at Pacific Sands Resort! It's such a special place, and the location simply can't be beat. Being just steps from the beach makes it perfect for families with kids, and there are so many great amenities on the property that you hardly ever need to leave. The Sunset House at Rosie Bay was the perfect place to land during our elopement in Tofino. The service at Pacific Sands was friendly and exceptionally helpful. Myla was very helpful in finding the right accommodations for our group throughout the resort and answering questions in advance of arrival. Our dog loved the yard at the sunset house and we really enjoyed the sunset hot tub and private sauna on site. The location is absolutely breathtaking—easily 10/10. Unfortunately, the hotel experience did not live up to the setting. We stayed in a beachfront room for five nights and were genuinely surprised to find that the property felt more like an off-leash dog park than a resort. We love dogs and were traveling with our own, so this is not a complaint about dogs themselves. Rather, it’s about the complete lack of enforcement of the property’s clearly posted on-leash policy.
