We bought a new 10 ton water chiller, 220V. It was not UL listed, but we knew that as we had asked. We hired a contractor to hookup and start-up the chiller. It leaked profusely from each end of 3 separate hoses. We began disassembly to determine the cause and then effect repairs. The stainless hose barbs were poorly machined by the manufacturer from nominal pipe rather than purchase hose barb fittings.
