Unfortunately I was unable to fly home after a business trip to San Diego. My family came down with Covid19 and thus required to stay in SD. Somehow i found Jessica at Pacific Car Rental and all worked perfectly and very reasonable. I was required to extend an additional week and Jessica made it happen. I will use them on a regular basis future forward. Thank you Jessica & Pacific !!!

I feel obligated to write this review to warn you about consumer fraud by Pacific Rent a Car. The one star is for the excellent trap they designed. Bear with me and you will learn how they charged me $562 for missing $15 worth of toll. As a visitor to California, I was not aware of the electronic toll roads which did not have any toll booth. A few weeks later, $562 charge from Pacific mysteriously appeared on my credit card. It turned out we missed three tolls for total about $15. This was by far the worst experience I have had in my life, I travel a lot, and rent a lot of cars. This one was rented last minute, but i wished I did not rent from this place at all. The staff was rude, I declined any insurance on the vehicle, and they charged me for it anyways. i did a dispute claim with my bank. The car that I was provided with was unsafe, felt like it was falling apart, I was scared to drive it. When I made those comments to the staff, they never apologized or offered any sort of solution.
