Nikolai is amazing. Called during busy season with an AC unit that was tripping our breaker, and of course we were preparing to leave on a week long trip in the heat. He managed to work us in to the schedule, and of course it ended up not being a cut-and-dry solution. At first we found the refrigerant undercharged (hooray, an easy fix!) but fixing that only made the electrical load issue worse! Tropics Marine Service has performed a variety of work on my boat over the last year. They are skilled, professional, reasonably priced and responsive. Nico is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He is a very practical problem solver who gets the job done well. I learned of TMS from someone else in my marina who was very satisfied with his work, he solved a problem for this gentleman that had been troublesome for years. The recommendation was on the spot! I feel fortunate to have found him and his company!

Nikolai at Tropics Marine Service has been great to work with. He has worked on my boat numerous times, has always shown up at the time he said he would be there, has been very efficient in diagnosing the problem and bringing the correct equipment to repair my boat. One time, two days before a week long boating trip, my air conditioner stopped morning, in the m Duke of the summer, Nikolai diagnosed the issue over the phone, came down on a Saturday, and got me up and running for my trip on Monday. Niko has completed several projects for me from a holding tank issue to house battery cabling to installing sump pumps. He is always on time and on budget and very conscientious and follows up to make sure that repairs are working properly. Niko is very quick to return calls and to get repairs scheduled. As boaters know in Seattle this is rare .
