So booked an appointment months ago. I get a call after I confirmed my appointment that is in 2 weeks saying they cant perform the need surgery for my eye do to my wieght. If you are over 350 pounds dont bother making an appointment as they will just tell you that they cant do it as there table from germary cant support heavier people. The funny thing is i was 370 and they did my other eye no problem. Have time books, hotel and other arrangments made that i can get money or time back for. What a bunch of bullshit! I had a wonderful experience at Pacific Eye Laser Centre! The staff and surgeon were very friendly, welcoming, professional and made me feel at ease. Winnie was my patient counsellor and she is the best ever! She answered all my questions and explained every step in detail of what to expect during and after the procedure. Had two laser procedures with Dr. Holland: one in 2020, and another one in February 2025. Amazing results! Dr. Holland is simply the best (and I visited many eye doctors and surgeons before). Also, the staff at Pacific Laser Eye Clinic is very knowledgeable and caring. Special thanks to nurse Winnie! She answers any question with detail and patience.
It has been three months and my vision is great. PLEC did an amazing job. My advice is: take the recovery seriously. Take 2 weeks off work. and follow their instructions to the letter. You're in good hands, these folks are experts.
A super smooth experience with excellent follow up care. I was very sensitive to light for longer than normal, and PLEC adjusted my recovery routine to help with the sensitivity I was experiencing. I got fantastic results and can't recommend them enough!
