I recently had eye surgery at Pacific Laser Eye Centre, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the very beginning, the pre-procedure process was incredibly straightforward. I couldn't see after the surgery, and still can't after almost 3 years. I had PRK to correct my distance. I was 49 years old when I had the surgery. Unfortunately, Dr. Holland over corrected my distance so I still need glasses to see both close and far. I cannot read at all without glasses. The surgery created significant astigmatisms in both eyes. Even with glasses, my eyesight is blurry. I have nuclear sclerosis which was not detected before the surgery, despite the many exams. Overall experience was excellent. From the beginning, the Pacific Laser Eye team professionally explained the process from pre-checkup to the eyecare afterward. The care and support they provided during the surgery day and follow-up were splendid. Don't worry if the initial recovery in the first 1-2 weeks was rough, eye drops are your friend. Highly recommend. 20/20 vision is worth it!
