I went here from 2023-2024 and I still have nightmares about this place. They will hire literally anyone who walks through the door, and you are indeed a joke to them. I still cant believe they had that evil Melia Donald working there wothout any qualifications. If you leave here without getting worse, count yourself lucky. Place sucked, thought it was a hotel with free rooms. Instead the staff of what I thought was a motel 6 robbed me of all my stuff. I couldn’t even order grubhub to my room. I wanted a queen size bed also and instead got a bed that looked like a prison bed and some dude in my room that was totally crazy. Usually at hotels my door will be knocked on occasionally for room service instead the staff comes in every 15 minutes. So weird. It's sad how little they care, and how they had the not qualified Melia Donald (among others) running groups and laughing at patients, but at least she was forced to leave before someone sued. And the forgetfulness and over compensating demeanor of Dr Christy Cotner was just offensive. How dare she be in charge if anyones case. You can not trust this place if you seek actual help, they are incapable of giving it, proven time and time again.
They shoved my brother full of drugs I told them had caused problems for him in the past, discharged him when he wasn't ready, and then threatened to call the cops on him when he had an episode of paranoia after they made him leave the building (while refusing to let him back in). Getting ahold of any of the treating personnel is impossible, much less being able to talk to the patients. They do not care about your loved ones. Do not take them here.
We were having a legal issue with my family, and they arranged a meeting and I was denied being able to go. I wasn't in for a 5150, and this meeting was to make a permanent decision for my mom.
