The only thing Ford seems to get right is the price tag — and even that they still get wrong. Paid around $200 for a diagnostic on a steering issue that clearly exists, only to be told “no faults found.” Then, out of nowhere, they quote $5,710 to replace the entire steering rack due to “potential water ingestion.” Potential. Complete joke of an experience for servicing my meticulously-maintained Ranger during my recent visit. Firstly, I booked online and specifically chose a booking day I could get a courtesy car as I was dropping off during a work day (there are options online for waiting in the lobby, getting an Uber, etc., each changing the available dates), only to get a successful confirmation of the booking stating with a single line lower down in the email "Unfortunately, our loan vehicles are booked out for the day" - no apology, no offe... read more
