5 star service! My compliments to Pacific Boatland and Chris Newcomb. After driving 6 hours to Portland to purchase a used Duckworth from a private party, only to find the boat was not quite as described we passed. Being so close we stopped at the local Duckworth dealer on the way home....and met Chris. Two hours, $$$ later, with no intention of buying a boat we had purchased the boat of our dreams, specifically customized to our needs and we couldn't be happier.
Pacific Boatland Rocks! I am a retired military veteran who just purchased a 26ft Bayliner Cierra 2655 Sunbridge from the dealership. Chris Newcomb, the manager was my point of contact every step of the way. After all these years still........Horrible!!! – Back in 2002 I was working with a salesman to purchase a Four Winns for almost 6 months to get "just the right one". We finally worked out a deal and I went to purchase it with my check book in hand and the price changed dramatically higher. I ended up purchasing a Four Winns (which I still have and love) somewhere else. 2008 I went there to get a drain plug for my cooler. They said they would order it and call me. Very helpful, friendly and goes the extra mile for customers! – When did the internet become a place to bash honest companies trying to make a living? I cant believe the last two reviews of this company. I have dealt with them for 11 years and have never had a problem that was not address quickly and fairly. Terrible experience...would not do business with them – As in the last review I found them very slow and hard to communicate with. After buying a boat from them they did not stand behind what they told me. They are unethical, period. I highly recommend not doing business with them, but if you must I would have a lawyer review all documents.
Will find another boat repair shop even though this is less than one mile from home. – Took my boat in for estimate and repair. They had the boat for almost two months before we were finally able to pull an estimate out of them. The estimate was too high. We may have had them do the repair despite the price had there been better communication and had the estimate been turned out sooner.
