Unfortunately 1 star is generous; please read the reviews as I can (disappointingly) see a trend re: cancelled bookings by Alexis. We booked a tent at Pachamama for one night during Easter via AirBNB and it was accepted; moments later Alexis advised that he was fully booked but kindly offered the renovated bus (advertised on booking.com not AirBNB) for the same price - we accepted this arrangement. I think this place needs to be put into context. It is a tent on the beach, yes, but you're also sharing a single potty and a single shower with 13 other people, will have a lot of nature loving ideals shoved down you, just to find sand in your sheets. We loved our brief stay at Pachamama! We stayed one night in December and it was perfect! So relaxing, the tent was so clean and the bed was so comfortable, the host Alex was welcoming and it was awesome to have the option to take a boat tour at sunset! Sadly we weren't able to try that but definitely next time. Dinner is provided as an option for $15 a head (so affordable!) Such a beautiful part of the world and we will be recommending it to everyone. Thank you Alex and Im (and Rocco!)
