Amidst all the metal and glass buildings stands a vision of the Gilded Age in Milwaukee, built, naturally, by beer. The history of the family is fascinating as is the woodwork and incredible detail of every room. Our docent Barb was knowledgeable and great sense of humor. The ticket/check in/gift shop is a great addition with lovely items to purchase. We look forward to visiting at Christmastime when it's all decorated. We took the guided tour. It was very informative and the Mansion is beautiful and wonderfully restored.
