Straightcurve has enjoyed working with Paal Grant and his team this year. Paal has a natural intuition when creating spaces and pushing the limits of what is possible, he has inspired us all with this year's projects. As an award winning designer and an early adopter of weathered steel in landscapes, he brings excitment and passion to each briefing. Paal has been an absolute pleasure to work with and his eye for detail, sculptural aesthetic and finish is second to none.
Paal completely remade our back garden including brick patio and large covered verandah. The garden plants, lawn and design are beautiful, easy to maintain and creating peace and harmony.. We spend every available moment in the garden. Paal has so much experience and energy, making the transformed space happen in minimal time. I looked at a lot of different landscape designers and when I saw Paal’s work I immediately liked his style. From the first phone call to the end of the project he was great to work with and I’m very happy with the front and back gardens he designed for us. I would definitely choose Paal again.
In particular, I observed that Paal has the skill of listening carefully. He is patient and collaborative, and his team are a pleasure to have around. I found his designs striking and inventive. I love the harmonious interaction between art and nature.
