this was covid "Government isolation facility" contracted by the Red Cross and Trudeau government where they used this hotel as a prison for those that "had covid" . I was locked up in a room for two weeks straight on the 5th floor and they wouldn't let me out for a fresh air, even though I didn't have covid. Remember folks, this business gave the Government of Canada a place to unlawfully lock people up, this hotel was used as a PRISON! You think about that next time you plan to stay there
Room was clean and hotel is generally good, but they have gone through several loopholes to not have to rehire staff they fired over covid, and continue to operate understaffed and as a result many amenities are gone. No daily room service, pool closed, restaurant closed. Workers have been on strike for 2 years.
