Our initial encounter with Ernie was fine, our water heater died 2 years ago and he responded quickly and did what we thought was quality work for a reasonable price. Fast forward to yesterday, our 2 year old water heater is leaking so I called Ernie about It as it has a 6 year warranty. Ernie advised it would cost $1000 to come and replace a WH that he installed and is under warranty! Ernie said this was a standard rate.
