I purchased an Outlander PHEV from Darren and I'm absolutely loving it. For the mileage it's done the car is in great health (looks to be an ex-lease company car so I'm assuming it had scheduled maintenance). The suspension is smooth, the interior is tidy and the buttons work as they should and aside from the wear and tear of a high mileage car (stone chips etc) the body is in great shape. I would definitely not buy a vehicle from this guy again he is dodgy and he's workmanship is terrible make sure if something goes wrong you hold him accountable because he will always try to get out of it not to pay. My honest is suggestion is to rather go else we my partner and I have had the worst experience with this guy when we bought a Mercedes CLA 45 He i quick to blame elsewhere instead of just taking accountability and sorting the problem out Definitely the worst car yard ever
tl;dr Would buy again. Purchased a repaired write-off car from Darren and had it shipped to Christchurch. We have had a couple of issues with it which Darren has addressed properly, including some reimbursement of costs. We are now left with a car we love and feel looked after. Note that it did take Darren a couple of reminders... but all ended well.
Easy purchase and great communication. Car was purchased with all knowledge of its history. A few issues just after purchase but Darren had this sorted very quickly and I was messaged and updated throughout. Car returned to me completely valeted which I really appreciated. Thanks again
