I like the. Company overall But the underwriters keep wanting every year a Dr to say I'm disabled with Parkinson's disease and You don't get better from a progressive disease and the Dr has filled out the paperwork and said I'll never be able to go back to work . The agent sent me the paperwork that I took and had it filled out by the Dr and know they are saying it's the wrong paperwork ... come on guys this is the 3 or more times I have had to do this. Do Not buy into the “ live, die or become disabled” that they tout! In Jan 2021 I had an emergency 5 bypass open heart surgery during my hospital stay and other testing they found an issue with my kidney and had to have left one removed in April 2021. I was awarded disability however, Ozark requires I prove disability every 3 months(?) it’s been a nightmare- In December I moved to a different state and all new doctors who Do Not gave all my records and Ozark is now cancelling my life insurance because I can’t get proof of be... read more
The funeral home filled out papers for me to get the death benefits check. No problem at all. The check arrived in a timely manner.
