The par-three 149-yard hole number one requires a precise tee shot, since water and woods wait for your ball on either side of the extremely narrow fairway. If you go short with your tee shot, there is a deep, long and wide waterless gully full of high weeds. Even If you are lucky enough to find your ball, chipping out of the gully is no easy task. Oyster Creek is a fantastic course — well maintained, fun to play, and incredibly welcoming. We came all the way from Colorado, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Honestly you don’t get their service anywhere else! They truly went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the area, I’d highly recommend adding this course to your list. Can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely disgusting, unwelcoming, and unprofessional experience… I visited on 1/23/2025 to request a site visit for my company clients who were looking to book the country club for their wedding and reception. I spoke to the front gate attendant and told them I was coming by to see the venue and drop off a business card for clear communication between my clients and the venue. Many holes aren’t well designed and sometimes there’s no bailout area. Conditions were mediocre at best.
Oyster Creek is a beautiful golf course in a beautiful community. The new greens are fabulous and each hole has its own challenges. Fun to play, great staff and nice facilities.
