I was headed to Albuquerque for an event when my GMC 4500 overheated 12 miles out of town. I limped my truck into town and found a diesel mechanic shop that could look at it, and they told me it was a blown head gasket and I needed a new motor and it was going to cost $15,000 to fix the existing motor out $35,000-$40,000 got a new motor and it was going to be at least 2 months to get this done.
