Horrible experience. The AC went out twice (one of the days was 93 degrees). The staff tried to gaslight us telling us it was just our two rooms (until one was finally honest and said it happened every time the hotel was booked full). The staff also told us that the AC technicians were on their way (when we later found out from the manager that they weren't). I stayed here many years ago. It needed a little update at that point. Staff was great with early check in. Trying to remember if I took the train in. Either way, it's extremely convenient to get here by plane, Amtrak or bus. Amtrak or Greyhound/bus, just walk out of station past Metrolink up across street. From Lambert Airport take the lightrail to Civic Center/Amtrak/Greyhound up across street. Bed was comfortable. Fairly clean. But you're downtown.
