Here’s what they don’t tell you. I spoke with their agent on the telephone and was told that they could provide portable oxygen for a flight on Southwest Airlines. They needed a contract, a physician’s prescription and my visa number which I provided. I called to confirm their receipt of my contract and was told that their equipment would not meet the requirements of my doctor’s prescription. 4 years ago I left a bad review for Oxygen to Go. I had only been on Oxygen for a month and was uninformed and shaken up by the idea of wearing oxygen. 4 years later and at least a dozen cruises and twice as many flights, I cannot say enough good about these folks. Lithium Batteries are not the airline's favorite things. The people at Oxygen to Go help me with my travels by providing the certification that I need to continue my lifestyle. We were denied boarding a Delta flight to Bangkok because we had the big batteries and Delta required the regular batteries. No one else in SLC carried the required batteries. We called frantic at 5:30 am looking for these batteries. We woke Maisun up , but he answered, got out of bed, went to the store and charged the 5 batteries we needed so they'd be ready to go when we met him there at opening time. That is above and beyond! We’ve used Oxygen To Go multiple times for my mother’s oxygen rentals when traveling to Cuba, but after this most recent experience, we will never use them again. I submitted the rental application but specifically followed up via email stating we were still reviewing and not ready to proceed. I asked them not to move forward until I confirmed.
