Yesterday, I went to Oxworks at Charmhaven to buy a few items needed to complete a fencing/gate project, including a short length of 65 x 16mm slat. I dealt with Geoff Crook, who went out of his way to help me, and provided excellent service, as I have found also in the past.

We may have had a one-off negative experience, but we weren’t happy with the service from Oxworks in Charmhaven. We purchased a slat gate/fence DIY kit, and while most of it was delivered Friday morning, they forgot the screws and joinery pieces. Had we not noticed before Friday afternoon, we wouldn’t have been able to install it over the weekend as planned. While installing, we realized a key gate component was missing.
