Such a stunning venue and was so excited for my August 2026 wedding here. I signed in June 2025 where they said renovations were going to be done in January 2026. So I thought my wedding date 7 months later would not be affected. While scrolling on Facebook a week ago (December 2025) in a DMV wedding group, a May 2026 bride had mentioned needing a new venue because Oxon Hill Manor had just canceled on her and said all 2026 weddings were going to be canceled. We found this venue that fit our vision perfectly. Atleast a year before our event date, we paid the deposit and half of the venue fee. Now we are 6 months out from our wedding they cancelled our event and we’re left scrambling to find another venue. We got our money back but we’ve been put in an unfortunate position. Staff was nice but this is just disappointing
