My 85yr old mother had a bad cough, so I rang this medical centre (she's been a patient there for about 20yrs) and spoke with a lovely young man by the name of Sam. He was incredibly kind and helpful, booking her in that day, and suggesting she take a RAT test. Came into see Dr Kevin Eggen with concerns about a skin reaction following a big operation I had a few weeks ago. Kevin’s manner was poor and he seemed disinterested. His introductory statement put me off guard when he abruptly asked ‘sick or pregnant’ before any salutations. The clinic that day was the quietest I had ever seen it and it still felt as if he wanted me out of his office as soon as possible. A welcoming reception, good GPs, especially Dr Murphy. Generally on time, but wait is not too long.
Just paid $98 to Dr Kevin Eggen to check my 3 year olds ears for literally 1 minute. Seemed keen to move us out of his office as quick as possible. This is the world we are in now. Can’t even afford to take your crying sick child to the doctors now. Medicare rebates $43
