Have only had wonderful experiences at this clinic! Dr. Duimering is our family’s optometrist and not only has she provided excellent care to myself, she was also fabulous with our 6 month old baby. She is lovely, patient, and answers all of your questions. The clinic is clean, beautifully decorated, and caters to the entire family. Would recommend to anyone!
I’ve been going to Oxford Optometry for over 10 years and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I called ahead and one of the front desk staff clearly told me I could pay on Friday when I get paid. She confirmed it fully on the phone. When I showed up, the office manager acted like that was never said and told me it wasn’t allowed. It made me feel ashamed and embarrassed for even asking after I was told it was okay. My initial first experience was fine here, until the sunglasses I paid hundreds of dollars for broke within 35 days of purchasing them. I returned to the store to see if they could be fixed. They told me I would have to pay for shipping to have them sent away, and pay for them to be fixed. At this point I expressed how that didn't seem fair, given that they were so new and so expensive. Every staff member I connected with at my recent appointment was very friendly and courteous, from the front receptionist, to the Techs, Dr. Andreasen to the frames consultant!
I had a disappointing and misleading experience at Oxford Optometry during a recent contact lens assessment. After paying for the exam and trial lenses, I was told I was receiving 10 pairs of lenses to try. However, when I opened the package, I found 10 lenses for one eye and only 5 for the other. Since lenses are used as pairs, this effectively meant I only received 5 pairs, not the 10 that were communicated.
