I worked for Oxford Life Insurance as their Medical Review though my RN License- was invalid, they knew this. But I had the most medical knowledge of anyone there. This company has a CEO who sits in his office like the Cheshire Cat and does nothing but farm out work to his buddies companies. And his buddy runs a claim business and consults for them and he has NO MEDICAL training or knowledge and sat there and tried to tell me I had to deny a claim because the woman's records stated she was on Oxygen at one time. Trying to get our Annuity transferred elsewhere. Almost 30 days of silence. We contacted the ONLY NUMBER available. Runaround for 3 days. Found name of Customer Service Supervisor on LinkedIn. Found customer service chat page. Runaround. Requested direct line number to Complaint Division. Received call from supervisor 30 seconds later. Is that how it works now?
I recently laid my mother to rest, and she had life insurance through Oxford. She passed on September 21, 2024, and I just now received the check on October 22, 2024, from this insurance company. I called multiple times to get a status update on the claim, and the first time, I was met with a representative named David who was very rude and short.
