On my way to the Oxford house I was nervous and nauseous; I did not know what to expect, what I had gotten myself into. The minute I walked through the front door, I was treated with dignity, compassion, respect and understanding. They taught me what it meant to have an addiction and gave me the skills and tools to cope with my disease. The staff is amazing. They have turned my life around and have set me on the path to recovery. The best decision I have ever made!
Its a scam to make money and profit. While recovering addicts die or get kicked to street in freezing weather. As long as they keep getting money from government they will act like they care for suffering alcoholics nd addicts. Needs to be governing bodies that watch money that goes in pocket of ceo..
My brother just recently died inside this incompetent sober living house . They do not do regular checks . They hardly hold weekly meetings . He was able to over dose in his room! And they didn’t even call his family to let us know ! We will be taking action against this completely negligent sober living facility . My brothers death could have been prevented! He was left for 3 days in his room! 3 days he layed there because NO ONE CHECKED ON HIM! May the owners rot in hell.
