I’ve been treated by this hospital for about 2.5 years. There’s always a long wait in a crowded waiting area although my most recent time was about 2hrs which is good for them as I’ve waited a lot longer on previous visits. Last time the consultant called me using Mrs before my christian name and surname. Everyone else I heard being called just had their Christian name and surname used so I have no idea why he did this. Big thanks for effective and timely service. All staff are very kind and knowledgeable and the dept is pretty well organized.
If you like to wait around a lot this is the best Hospital for that even on days with not many people still Plan to wait around a lot. I’m sure the hospital is making a deal with the car parking charges to keep waiting around. Even with appointments booked plan to wait a minimum of 2hours even with a booked appointment to be seen.
Absolutely awful, unorganised shamble of visits. On multiple occasions, I have waited well past my scheduled appointment time – sometimes up to five hours. There is never any indication of where I am in the queue, and the entire environment feels chaotic and disorganised. Didn't have a good experience today. I called to see if I could book an appointment to get my eyes checked after I was treated in April. The person to I spoke to on the phone told me I can walk in that I don't need an appointment, the person that attented to me (today) was cold and abit harsh as I needed to clear the fact that my eyes were okay to start wearing glasses again.
