Cannot deal with this specialist. Couldn't get hold of anyone on the phone, tried 4 times. Waited a week and half only to receive a text with an appointment time with no contact whatsoever. When I didn't respond to that text within 24 hours, I got a call from a very rude receptionist trying to confirm my appointment. Lucky for me I had a new referral to a clinic where I could actually speak to someone and they were lovely. Re reception, very poor service. I rang several times to cancel an appt but no one answered the phone. Finally the woman rang after my not attending appt. I recently had surgery for a skin biopsy, really disappointed by the experience as first I had to pay up front $2,000 before I had the surgery, then I had to do my own claiming back through Medicare and my private health fund which wasnt easy if you haven't done it before. Please keep in mind (without naming the dermatologist) there are only two from the practice that get the patient to do all the work for them. 😡
I recently had a BCC removed at Oxford dermatology. The entire experience was positive. The processes where very professional and I was well informed throughout the day including as great post op debrief at comprehensive information pack. The staff worked really well as a team and treated everyone like people rather than just patients. I felt cared for during the treatment rather than just processed.
