DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My partner has had several issues and delays with Oxford. Something that was meant to take 6 to 8 weeks has dragged on for over 5 months. They are quick to ask for money but can’t deliver. Their project manager has changed 3 times since we accepted the job. Their trades are good but that’s when they finally arrive. We are looking to take this to NCAT as we are on the 5 month and have only got to waterproofing stage
Avoid this company at all costs. My experience with Oxford Bathrooms has been a nightmare involving statutory breaches, property damage, and a complete lack of professional accountability. We paid more than 63% of the contract and they commenced demolition before providing the mandatory Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) insurance certificate—a major breach of the Home Building Act. Our bathroom remodel with Oxford Bathrooms is plagued by poor project management, constant delays and inconsistent workmanship. On top of all that, I was physically assaulted by one of their subcontractors and had to go to the hospital. This is all much worse than what their older positive reviews describe. Turns out those reviews were for just one project manager, Matt Sweeney, who left the company in December 2025 before our project commenced. I never write negative reviews because I believe in supporting small businesses and giving people second chances; however, my experience with Oxford Bathrooms has been such a nightmare that I feel a responsibility to warn others: save yourself the stress and physical risk—look elsewhere. Our experience with Oxford Bathrooms is much worse than what their reviews describe. It seems their positive reviews were for one project manager, Matt Sweeney, who left the company in December 2025 before our project commenced. Our project has been extremely stressful for us and I won’t recommend Oxford Bathrooms to anyone due to terrible project management and constant delays. We are 12 weeks in and the bathroom is still incomplete.
