RecommendedI'm a strong believer of public education. Seven members of my family graduated from Oxford and two members are currently attending. I worked in the Business Office for 30+ years and my brother taught in the high school until he retired. The Oxford Area School District has great administrators, teachers, support staff employees, and terrific students. The priority of the District will always be Students First.
RecommendedI love the numbers of schools (which separates the grades).
I have had many children go through this school district and in doing so dealt with many many great,understanding, supportive staff members. I have unfortunately dealt with way to many uncaring, disrespectful, stereotypical, unprofessional, rude individuals. There is much bullying by the kids as well as staff that takes their power of their authority over the top. They allow bullying from their students and their staff. I would not subject my child to this school ever again .

They care more about what you are wearing then you going home crying because of bullies.
The entire team at Oxford Area High School, went above and beyond to help make my son Sean successful at Oxford High School, and ECA at Cecil College . I would not have wanted him to go anywhere else, and it looks like his brother Ryan will be following in Sean's footsteps . Thank You one and all..........
The teachers are ok, the school board and administration are lacking.
