I am a current resident of Oxbo and have been for nearly 3 years. My personal rating has dropped from 5 to 2 starts for the following reasons. In the last year a number of safety concerns have arisen and not been addressed by office staff. On top of many garage break ins and packages being stolen, my own car was stolen last summer. I was told my safety isn’t guaranteed in my lease. More recently many doors have been left propped open and I’ve been able to get through 3 “locked” doors without using my key. The Pros: If you want the best location in downtown St Paul, this is the place. The interior of the apartments are great, high end and better than neighboring properties. I moved in approx 3 years ago, and crime was prevalent, had theft in the townhome area due to no security gate, that has now been remediated with a new security gate. There is the occasional car break in's which are hard to completely prevent due to slow garage doors. Applied for this townhome and got turned down for 3 collections on credit report in real 100s of apartments out there just don't go to oxbow apartments in st Paul
I have lived here for 2 years and always recommend OXBO to family/friends. Shoutout to Randy in maintenance! He has always been super quick to get up to our apartment when we put in an urgent request.
