have been a customer of Owl-tech for many years. I just upgraded my system and all the employees of Owl-tech were extremely pleasant and most importantly, new the product and how to install it. I would highly recommend Owl-tech as your complete security system provider.

Purchased a security system from Defence Security (no longer in business) and was directed to Owl Tech for monitoring and Millennium for alarm response. 14 years of paying $20 / month for monitoring. Recently notified OT I was getting a new door and was told basically I was overloading the system. Charge was $110 / hour but most of the work was done by my handyman and the tech was here for less than 20 minutes. Attempted to work out an amicable solution but was threatened with collections. Customer service is nice if you want to spend a couple thousand on an alarm system, however if years later you want to stop wasting hundreds of dollars on monitoring they will not cancel the monitoring and want to charge you to to remove the whole system. The Rogers and Telus smart home monitoring seem like a better idea in retrospective.
