We just had a harrowing experience with our breaker box which is in our basement. Something shorted out and caused a system failure and also started a small fire in the box. Once I knew the fire was out, I started googling electrical companies to see if I could get someone to come out on a Saturday afternoon and fix the problem. The two men who came to my home and did the installation of an outlet for the outside of my house were AWESOME!!! Ugh! I wish I had got their names!! They answered all my questions and they explained to me what they were doing. They also worked on my ceiling fan which is pretty high up. He retired it a couple of ways to try to satisfy me, but at the end of the day we realized it was best just to get another fan.
