I had a new roof installed in January 2015 by Baker Roofing using Owens Corning 3-Tab Supreme Shingles (Onyx Black), which were advertised as a 25-year roof. When I later added a garage to my house, the roofer noticed that the existing roof was deteriorating much faster than expected and was unable to properly attach the new roof to the existing shingles.
