Dr O'Neill is an incredibly talented surgeon and I always felt he truly cared about my well being. He thoroughly explained everything throughout the process and patiently answered all of my questions. I highly recommend him.
Dr O’Neill was knowledgeable, thorough, and clear in his explanations at my recent consultation appointment regarding options for my hip osteoarthritis. He explained the hip replacement process, discussed x-rays, and went over the pros and cons of the various options. I was very satisfied and recommend him highly for his clear communication and professionalism.
Updated Dec 2023. Despite a busy schedule, Dr O’Neill and his time spend time to thoroughly discuss treatment options. I appreciate how Dr O’Neill uses state of the art, new research proven techniques for joint replacement. They take BMI into account when justifying surgery. Which is an out of date practice/policy. Once he informs me of the higher risks, If I want to take the higher "risk" for a knee replacement it should be my choice. I am well aware of the risks and complications. I was told that I should reconsider bariatric surgery because no Doctor would do the surgery. I feel bariatric surgery carries the same risk as knee replacement surgery. It makes no sense one surgery for another.
After 3 years of successfully treating my knee with injections to combat osteoarthritis, Dr Owen O’Neill recommended it was time for a knee replacement. He did both my husband’s knees and he has had great success. Back to racquetball, golf-walking with push cart, XC skiing all with no problem. We highly recommend Dr Owen O’Neill!
