I am extremely disappointed with my appointment with Dr Owen Mattern. After everything I have been through, I expected honesty, accuracy, and acknowledgement of the damage caused by my previous surgery. Instead, I felt dismissed, deflected, and unheard. Dr Hughes cut my rhomboid muscle and reattached it in a way that is completely unnatural — folded multiple times like a paper aeroplane and fixed back to the scapula. Doctor Owen did a fantastic job with my shoulder stabilisation surgery for a torn labrum. He was great pre surgery with a plan, and also post with catch ups. May god bless him and keep up the great work.
