Best place in Memphis, except for the part that is a zoo. Save the Greensward, preserve the Old Forrest. Never pave another square foot of OP for any reason.
After moving back to Memphis, this is so beautiful to see, our park is back. Grew up in Overton Park, love that it is back to life.
Absolute heart of Midtown. I love the Greensward and the forest. The Shell and the lake. Geocaches and the climbing trees. Easily my favorite place to take my kids to play.
Overton Park is a treasure! All Memphians should experience everything that it has to offer. It will not disappoint.
